Default 2007 Hummer H3 Center Console Cover Latch

Hello all! The Driver's right side center console armrest cover lid latch broke on my 2007 Hummer H3. This is the small storage container/armrest lid where I rest my right arm while driving. Hope this makes sense. The latch is an easy fix, but I need a replacement lid latch. Anyone know how I can come by this piece? Please advise.

Thanks!

what is broke? my lid dont "latch"if something covers the catch bujt i never notice if its not caught, hooked ,latched???

if the lid broke,,,describe the problem.
i crunched mine with my elbow the first day, then added some wood spacers to fix it right,,,solid

edit; wonder why they ever put a completly useless latch on it in the first place!!

not needed, wouldnt spend a dime for one

Mine was broke when I bough the H3. Its very easy and cheap to replace. There are only 4 screws to remove the lid and gain access to the latch iirc. Once you get it out, you can see why they break. The part number is 15111834 and it lists for $17.00. Any Chevrolet or GM dealer can order the part. You can also order it online but after shipping its cheaper to pay list from the dealer.

I would recommend taking a look at GM Parts Direct: GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts. You can choose catalog at the top of the page and search for you vehicle. You should then be able to find the part that you are seeking. Please feel free to keep me posted regarding the fix. Thank you.

Sundown hit it right on the head. 4 screws and about 18 bucks.
He has listed the part number.
