2007 H3 Speedometer calibration/programmer
HI!
I just bought a used 2007 hummer H3 3.7L.
There is a problem that when speedometer show reading 70 M/H, my actual speed is just 60 M/H. I need speedometer calibration. I was checking online for programmer module, so that i can fix it by myself, but failed to find any.
Please! Advice me, what to do? I am not in USA and dealer not helping.

Speedo calibration is set through the PCM programming. There are no hand held DIY tuners for the I5s, has to be done through PCM tuning software.
Jet modules have no impact on the spedo calibration table.

Jet Chip Speed Control Unit
This is the part I was referring to. According to the info it will work when you do new tires. As I said before, I am not sure if it will correct the calibration if it is just out of whack. You could give them a call and ask, the only thing you are out at that point is the time for the call. They also have a 30 day return policy. If anyone knows this device to not work please let me know as I am about to order one since I just ordered larger tires.

SCU 2000
Part #: 50100
The JET SCU-2000 (Speed Control Unit) modifies the vehicle speed sensor output readings to correct your speedometer and odometer after making gear ratio or tire size changes. Shift points in automatic transmissions are also corrected. As a bonus the SCU-2000 also removes the top speed limiter! The unit installs with simple plug-in connectors to the transmission output speed connector and is easily calibrated by adjusting the dials.
*The SCU-2000 is only available for automatic transmissions.

Thanks guys for help. I purchased BULLY DOG WATCHDOG http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=200486750487
Nothing else worked for me. The Jet scu 2000, is not accurate. This watch dog thing gives to much info from PCM. It also gives option to adjust speed to show on watch dog screen.

I went with PCMforLess. It cost $250 to do the loaner program. Total time took 7 days and they tuned the PCM, changed shift points, and recalibrated for my 35s. The best route in my opinion. There is no programmer for a 3.5L or 3.7L so why settle for a pos universal. Have it done right and get it professionally tuned.

Thanks for the heads up on the Jet product. How do you know it is not accurate? I wish I could get it professionally tuned, unfortunately, as my name suggests, I live in Korea and no one here can do anything with the Hummer. Sometimes it does not pay to be unique.
