I have a question.....just purchased a 2007 H3 (base model) and the power window/lock buttons lay flat on the arm rest. Now two days later my reverse lights are not working so I brought it back to get it serviced. They gave me a 2007 H3 with the adventure package to drive while they work on the lights. The power window/lock buttons are up higher on the arm rest and at an angle. The manuel holder is in a nice leather carrying case and this car seems to be a little faster then mine. I am starting to worry that mine is really a 2006 or a 2007 made in 2006 becuase my friend has a 2006 with the luxury package and his button are in the same place as mine. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 2006 and 2007 or is it the difference in the package? I understand a difference in appearance such as silver accents around the trim of the buttons, but not the location.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but the dealer sort of gave me the run around and so I am not very trusting of them at this point.

urs is an early 07 like mine
i think the change was in feb or so as far as the manufacturing date
look on ur door(driver) urs will be 12/06 or 01/07 maybe even 11/06

 

Yeah you got an early 07 model, the change was in Jan. 07. I just traded in my 06 for the 07 and I had to have them find the H3 model that I was looking for. Luckily a dealer in PA had it so I only has to wait 2 days to get my H3. The born on date on mine is 05/07, all 07s have the same engine...they just separted(move them farther apart)the gas/brake pedal, added child locks on rear doors, and moved the window switches.
