Default 2006 H3 Blower Motor Not Working

Looking for a little help. I have a 2006 H3 that the blower motor has stopped working all together on any speed. I have read some of the postings and understand that this is a common problem. I have checked some the common things listed and all appear okay. I have pulled the plug on the resistor for the blower but it does not have any burnt connections at all. Is it still possible for the resister to bad?????

Did you check the fuse? I think if the resistor is bad it should still work on the highest speed. I may be wrong. Good luck.

I have checked the fuses associated with the heating system / I also checked the relay / I did however lose interest as I was working outside in single digit weather. I hope to have time to get in my garage this week sometime and warm thinks up little / I can then take more time to track down the issue. I want to check voltage at the resistor wire to see if power is making to the blower motor and then maybe run power straight to blower motor to check it.

All the resistor wires get switched, one at a time to ground, the last, highest speed grounds a relay coil and the contacts ground the motor directly. Thus, you can look for 12v on any wire and also ground any to check the motor/relay.
If the fuse is good,(?), you should see 12 v everywhere. But then it should be working!, unless the sw is bad or a sw/ground is open.

Update: Well its good and bad / I checked all the things that I had seen posted in these very useful forums. I basically find out that I had no power at all making it to the blower. I ran out of time and took it to the dealer. Long story short; the dealer called and said come get it / when they pulled the fuse box and hooked it back up everything worked. May have been a loose connection on the fuse box plug? Dealer says if it does it again the fuse box will need replaced.

Strange occurrence along with whole issue that I did not notice right away was that my drivers side power window had also stopped working.

Guess I will just have to see it it happens again.
