Default 2006 H2 exterior lighting suggestions

Have a 2006 H2 that I bought new. Drove it for the first time in the rain last night...yes for the first time, and it was horrible to see out of. I dont normally drive it at night but had upgraded the stock low beams to Sylvania's Silverstars as they had worked super in other vehicles I have had b4. This was the worst driving experience I have ever had. I could not see much in front of me. It was an average light rain so nothing severe. Checked the lights when I got home and they were angled properly.

I have a 2008 Escalade and its far superior, but has different lighting. Have a 2003 Silverado and the Silverstars work super in that. Wondering if its the lack of real fog lights that make it hard to see.

Saw this: http://gmaccessoriesstore.com/offroa...26_431_432_433and wondered if it would do the trick. anyone install it? Thoughts? Is it a simple plug and play application? I have the brush guard so thats no issue.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

My truck came with these kind of lights. http://bestsupercars.com/pics/2006/2...-1024x768.html
We tried them a few times and almost blinded our friends. My Husband took the truck out Hunting and was able to see Coyotes WAY up on the Hill! And everything else on the way. http://gmaccessoriesstore.com/offroa...26_431_432_434
I hope this helps,
Des

55W Hella 4000 Compacts. They are adjustable, up/down & left/right. I also have the Silvastars which seem to reach out further than the stock, but thebeam is narrow. I added the Hella's and they fill in everyhing and out to the sides. In the heavy rain here in SFL they work great.
