they fit the hole pattern and plug right into the controller in the door switch. You MUST pull the window glass out of the door in order to get to the four bolts that hold the mirror on. It is real easy to do. Once you release the two clamps that hold the glass, lift just a bit out of the clamps and rotate it clockwise, 90 degrees and lift out the opening in the top of the door. Reverse the process to put it back in. One word of caution, if you have tinted windows, drop part of sheet in the door on the tint side to protect the film when pulling the window out.

I put them on my 03 and did not have to take the glass loose. It was very easy. I bought mine from the dealer for $425 each

Thanks Calf Phil,

Is there somewhere I can get instructions or some guideline on how to remove the door panels and install the mirrors?

I have done a few like this. Door panel off, peel the water sheild down, remove the glass and lay in at an angle in the bottom of the door 'taking it out of the door is not recomended", unplug the mirror, un bolt the mirror, reverse for installation. While your doing this now is the time to install some chrome or powdercoated or painted door buckets, it would only be about 5 more min per door.

Dont forget the beer, it helps smooth things out during the install!

Thanks Circuitguy,

You guys give me the motivation to take this project on and I like the idea of doing the chrome door buckets at the same time.

Thanks

We get them direct from our GM supplyer. Here are the part numbers for each.

Passenger Mirror GM 25774401
Driver Mirror GM 25774400

If you cant get them yourself I can for you but you should be able to get yourself them at your local Hummer Dealer.
