2005 H2 Front End Issue
I haven't really had any issues really, but I could tell the front end was a little loose. I'm getting ready to move, so I pulled of the 20inchwheels with 35" tires and put the stock wheels (17") with BFG All Terrains. While I had them off I was checking out the tierod ends, etc. I noticed the inside end of both the left and right tierod ends, where they meet the 3rd piece about 1.5' inside of each front wheel, was a little loose. I took it into a front end shop and they told me they needed to replace the Idler Arm, Idler Bracket and Pitman Arm. Everything else checked out ok. Total bill to do this work ~$1000. When they priced each piece out there were 3 pieces about $200 each. I went to another place and asked about replacing the pitman arm and idler arm and they told me about $600. So, does anyone have any experience/advice on this work/cost? It just seemed a little pricey.

I bought the beefy bulletproof stuff from dmaxstore and spent around $1400, but that's lifetime warranty...
My buddy installed it while I worked on some other stuff... it's not a simple job... but it makes the truck feel so good when it is done..
