Not hiding anything. Reason I'm selling is this. My wife has a 2005 Escalade. I had a 1997 Jeep whose frame broke last February. I told my wife we can upgrade her Escalade and Ill take hers. She wanted to keep it. I needed something and always wanted a Hummer so I bought it strictly impulsive. As luck would have it our Escalade has 216,000 miles and the transmission is slipping. I got my wife a 2011 Escalade ESV now I have three SUV's in a two person family. The Hummer has value so that's the one that goes. I have sold over 30 vehicles in my life and I never need to make money. When I decide to sell I sell always at a loss. I perfectly understand I will take a loss but I'd rather be reasonable and put a little money away. I will lose a few thousand if I sell and that's OK. I certainly don't need the money and don't need to sell. But I'm 59 and would like to retire at a reasonable time. So there it is. I paid $11,000 for this Hummer this past April. So I'm not making anything. Ill be satisfied if I get half the money back on the repairs that were done.
Thanks again for the input.
