2004 Hummer H2 for $12,000?
Theres a dealership selling a 2004 Hummer H2 for $12,000 with 120,000 miles on it. I want to put $2000 down and finance it. Do you think this is a good deal or is there something shady going on here. A hummer H2 is the only vehicle id ever waste money on, every other car under $50,000 looks like trash

12k?
Well lets say this... about 2-3 years ago I bought my H2 fully loaded with 113k on it for about 20k
I have heard them going down in price quite a bit (mainly from the economy and the gas price), plus you also ask yourself how is the Rig... ripped seats? a/c working or not? chipped dash? chipped paint? and so on....
And think about this too....
the rig is at the point where maintaince is due or repairs will be required can you afford to do them?
I know at 120-130k my truck needed a new a/c compressor, and new springs (has air bags), and a new shifter cable setup, and a new alt, and so on.....
It was worth it to me to buy it because I dont have a payment though.
Just something to think about

I dunno, I got a good deal for mine. I bought it in 08' with 82,000 miles on it. It was an 03' adv. package. $15,000
The guy was gonna sell it to CarMax and they were offering him $13,000 for it. I think it had a lot to do with gas prices here in California and the hybrid/electric car thing here.
I get flipped off quite a bit.

I got my black '03 Adventure package a couple of months ago with 129k for $15,400. Clean in and out. Runs strong! I'm happy $12,000 seems like a good deal but test drive it and be sure the condition is well worth it! Hey H2CANEPADESIGN, we don't live far away from each other so if you have time to get together, hit me up bud! I'm just in Panorama City.

$12k sounds suspiciously cheap. Get a carfax and after looking at it in person if you are still interested have a 3rd party dealership or mechanic look it over. It might just be a great deal, but at that price from a dealership I'd be wondering if something is wrong with it or if it has a salvage title...
