09 H3 Lux,,anyway to get Off-Road Package??
Is there any way to get Off-Road Package???
I have asked part department at local HUMMER dealer.. the staff said he would give me a call after asking other staff if the package is available.. but no call I received after that.....
I should never go buy a car when knowing nothing about packages.

If you are going to do "all that" to it why not sell what you have and find a clean 09-10 Alpha OffRoad in your favorite color and have everything you want from the factory and go from there?
That way you will have a V8, All the Lux Options, Front & Rear Lockers and the 4:1 t-case WITH A WARRANTY!

That's why I said "and go from there". It's not hard to get 400hp out of the LH8 V8 that came in the Alphas. Cam, head work, intake/TB, exhaust, tune and you are there. A lot of the LS mods work quite well with the LH8.
I personally will not do any internal engine mods until my 5/100 drivetrain warranty is over. Then, 4:56s and I will try to get higher torque #s at lower RPMs ...... oh boy!

David, if you are going to spend all that $ you might as well invest in a Cast Iron front diff housing also. With that much power and lockers the aluminum front diff you have in there now will prob "deflect" causing pinion and ring gear damage. The Cast Iron diff is about as bullet proof as you can get and still have the OEM parts.
Also remember that you have 4:56 gears vs the Alphas 4:10 gears so there will be more teeth on the same size ring gear. There may be a slight difference in the strength between those ring gears. I know Timgco had an Alpha with 4:56s and mentioned this to me when I said I wanted to change from 4:10s to 4:56s.
Hope this helps!

going nowhere
david, its apparent you are running on emotion and not knowledge. you could face reality and
see that if you actually do decide to spend this small fortune on parts, you will need to pay
someone to assemble it. if your ego or emotional needs require an alpha, you would be better off trading your h3 for one.
if you tackle the job yourself its easy to predict that the wheels on your present h3 may never rotate again.
just be sure you dont put a 4.10 up front and a 4.56 in the back
