07 H3 Electrical Issue - Door Ajar
Hey guys,
Coming to you with another small electrical issue. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow and wanted to see if anyone had any input that I should pass on to the dealer.
My H3 keeps giving me the "DOORS" warning for Door Ajar. As such, the interior lights will turn on periodically, and when I lock all the doors, the drivers door unlocks right away, unless I lock it manually. Any clue as to what could be causing this?
-- George.

sift clues
sounds like a door open,,,
actually the little guy in the trunk who keeps track of doors and such is probably getting a secret signal from a defective or misadjusted DOOR switch. he thinks its open,,
it could very well be the driver door, used the most, and is acting funny, like maybe the unlok thingy is connected.
id push on the switches, see ifn one acts funny, or needs to be pushed hard or far in.
it might be adjustable.
if so turn it out,m so the door pushes it in further. report back later

I had similar issue when I got mine. Dont know what logic I was following at the time but i swapped the funky switch out of my drivers door and put it in tailgate and vice-versa. No problems since. It is very easy to change those, 1 screw and a plug.
