03 Hummer H2 Navigation Headaches!!
I just bought a used GM navigation unit off of ebay to put in my 2003 H2 and I am having troubles. When plugged in it displays the anti-theft Lock activated message. I called the local Hummer dealership and they were less than anxious to help me out. They said I could bring it in and they would charge me $150 an hour and even then they cant guarantee that they can get it programmed for me. Can anyone provide any direction for me?

All of the GM Radios (well newer ones) are vin locked. If you go into the dealer all they have to do is program your vin# to the radio. The most any dealership should charge is 1 hour. I was charged 1/2 an hour. Here is a way to test if the radio works ok before you take it to the stealership.
1) Turn on car and wait for "theftlock" screen to appear.
2) Pull the radio fuse
3) Put the radio fuse back in
The radio will work until you start the car or you turn the ignition off.
Hope this helps......
