2003 HUMMER H2 /PEWTER
We were vandalized and the crooks took the Tow/Haul switch and various dash parts including visor clip of all things. They got in and out while we were at the Fair Grounds.Removed the complete drivers side door panel with buttons and all. (see web/link below) These parts ARE no longer manufactured "GM 19121400 "cowl trim", GM10358861 "sill" GM15062645 "Tow/Haul switch".
Does the toy/haul switch have to be working to drive day to day?
I need replacements for parts missing. Does anyone have these parts they want to sell to the insurance company for my replacement? paris@pstel.net

MANY MANY MANY times GM changes part numbers and the OLD number is no longer made.... but is replaced with a new number.

If Gene tells you the part can't be had.... then you're going to be searching eBay and Junkyard for a long time.

 

Thank you very much MD. I called Gene and left a message today Aug12. I have located a part in Ontario Canada @ Plazek's Auto Salvage (they have 4 Hummers in the yard) but the number does not match up with original. The GM dealer here is seeing if it is interchangeable. 15062645 with 1516364. Now if it is that's great! But I am still waiting to hear back.Thanks a ton for your help and knowlege... I appreciate it.

 

I meant to turn you on to Plazek's mikeplazek@plazek.com 905 957 8111. They did not have the sill or cowl so I am out unless I use one of those billet kind of sills.
No cowl though. It runs up the side corner as cover dressing.
