OFF-Road Event: July 12th weekend - Silver Lake Sand Dunes, MI
#31
RE: OFF-Road Event - Midwest - '08 End June/Early July
IM IN!!!!!
I'll be up there tomorrow actually and can give a report on the dunes. I'm going to meet some guys from Harvey Hummer actually as well as the local hummer owners club. I'll rally them and when we have a date set in stone, we can email the event out to everybody around here.
Come out this weekendif you're around here! Should be a huge group with the Great Lakes 4 Wheel Club also.
Another option for you all on the other side of the pond, to save miles and driving stress, check out the Lake Michigan car ferrys. They are a blast but fill up quick. They dont really save a whole lot of time or money but fun to go on.

The badger is the old one if you are into a more traditional maritime experience...sounds like HG. I recall they have a Lake Michigan museum on board. I actually have never done the Lake Express but I hear its nice and about twice as fast.
If we get a good group together, the local hotel will block off rooms and they've been known to do half off deals also.

I think Rich already took the days off for the June weekend. That's why I set the date to June
Well, you guys decide! I'm fairly certain I'm up for either one.
