Sugarphreak, I would try to get that skid plate more to the outsides closer to the tires to protect the steering linkage and front end suspension... if your not going to do any wheelin it shouldn't matter, but even a deep snow drift could be a problem if it has ice in there... just my 0.02

Well, it is already done now and I wasn't planning on re-doing it anytime soon. I do take it off-road quite a bit, this should be sufficient.
It offers close to the same protection as the oem plate; looking at previous pictures the oem skid plate actually angles back in a similar style along the sides and the only thing that is really in front of those components was that plastic bumper.
My main concern was that the bottom of the radiator was fully exposed without it, this new skid plate fully protects it now.
