Yaw Rate Sensor Going or Gone Out
I’ve searched the forum but not seeing a question or response for the following question.
I’m getting a code C0186.
I’m planning a 1500 mile trip and want to use the H3. Can I use the H3 on this trip or should I go to another vehicle. I do not have enough time to order the sensor and put it on.
Other than warning and gauge lights, can anything else occur during this trip? Will it harm the vehicle?

Won't harm the Hummer, yet you will be driving WITHOUT ABS/StabiliTrak. Did you clean connector & contacts?
C0186 HUMMER Possible Causes:
Faulty Yaw Sensor/Lateral Accelerometer Sensor
Yaw Sensor/Lateral Accelerometer Sensor harness is open or shorted
Yaw Sensor/Lateral Accelerometer Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

Hummerz,
I had to pull seat. I’m one of those sunroof people. Drying out as much as I can of the sound damping/padding under the carpet in the area.
I’m going to cut an access so if I have a failure in future don’t have to go thru pulling seat.
As for cleaning plug, after disconnecting battery, thoughts on plug side (male) connector cleaning? What could I put in those wholes to really clean for a good connection in the event there is build up down inside?
For the sensor itself, I’ve got a tool I can clean those prongs.
I want to have as good as it gets connection.
