TPS wont rest
Discount Tires tech tried at two different location and the warning light is still on. All the sensors are good ans sending signal per their testing. Is there a known computer glitch keeping the reset from happening? They get the system to the learn mode but when they try to link the sensor it's a no go.
Frustrating as hell i hate having warning lights on, makes me like a dog with a bone......

I updated my post. Did you have your tires replaced? or did you go there for the free donuts?

I suffer from CRS (Can't Remember Sheet).
When I had new sensors installed at Discount Tire couple months back, I was watching what the Kids/Tire Monkeys were doing. They had to get the Manager to help with resetting the TPMS. When programming I watched the one kid try 2 times to program in the spare with the others. Manager went out in the bay and started to reprogram with their tool again. I walked out and said stop trying to program the spare and read what the tool is telling you. Soon as he stuck to programming only the 4 tires on the ground, all was good.
Got no idea if your Tire Monkeys were trying to program your spare, but the H3 can only read 4 TPMS. My early 2007 wheels all came with TPMS. Later in 2007 GM no longer put a TPMS in the H3 spare.

Ok finally! I messed with it this afternoon after work at home. After reading and watching several vid's here's what I did.
1. Ignition in the "On" position.
2. Set parking brake.
3. Actuate light switch from "On Auto" (default) to "Off" 3 times, horn chirps. This sets the system to the learn mode.
4. Deflate left front tire for a count 10, horn chirps, do the same on the rest of the tires in a clockwise direction,.This transmits signal.
5. Start engine. "Low Tire" warning came on. This verifies signal was stored by receiver.
Drove to nearby tire center and aired up to 40PSI. Started up no warring lights and or message. DONE!
Man that was a PITA, can't believe the tire monkeys (had to steal that one Doc) or even their keeper couldn't get it right.
