You can actually see the tough rubber piece that is mounted to the glass frame from underneath when you have the sunshade open and the roof closed. And the replaceable rubber seal around the perimeter comes off really easily, goes back on ok if you use just a little dab of o-ring lube in the channel to re-insert onto the flange of the hard rubber part, (the part that was pulling away on mine). So far, so good. Took it through the car wash with only a drop or two through the seal into the drain tray. It is staying put right up against the metal where it
