Removing vent solenoid valve_Code P0449
I've been having a P0449 code for a while now, and I've been told to replace my vent solenoid valve. There were no visible leaks, and the code is not accompanied by any other codes. There is a hose connected from the vent solenoid valve to the vapor canister which was easy to remove, but the canister and solenoid seem to be connected as well. When I tug on the solenoid, it pulls the canister along with it. Is there a clip that I am forgetting to press? I can't get a good look due to the metal surrounding both the solenoid and canister. I have attached a few pictures to show what I am working on. My vehicle is a 2006 Hummer H3.
*The first picture is a bottom view of the solenoid and canister. The next two pictures are a side view with the solenoid being on the left. The last picture is the best picture I can get from a top view.

Take the canister out and work on a bench. There is a metal tab that needs to be moved for the cvvs to slide off. After you get it off, move that metal tab back to original position, so the new cvvs locks in when installed. GL
