The no edit feature here kinda sucks..

Anyways,, it's more of a slanted top than an indent I guess you could say.

This is for the 3700 VVT auto.

On Hold right now with HUMMER, same issue with my 07 and was just quoted $894 for factory or 651.50 for aftermarket. These are parts and labor prices. I was told it is the heat taking its toll on the equipment.

Will update as this goes on.

UPDATE
They still insist that it is the environment and the heat here in Phoenix which caused my crack. My rep is the only one who can escalate the issue but she is gone for the day. I have between now and tomorrow morning to plan my conversation. Furthermore, the vehicle is still at dealer. Motorbike in 113 degrees is not fun, thanks GM and your crap radiator.

If your dealer is replacing it with the same old style rad you're being ripped off.

Ask me how I know..
Is there a part number change? Do you have a picture of the new radiator?

Okay here's mine with the new replacement. As you can see there is a slightly greater back angle on the new one and it's alightly taller..

This is an H3 with the OEM rad. The difference though slight is enough to keep the rad from riding against the rad support.

Here's another of mine afer cleaning it up.. Again you can see the back angle of the upper portion of the rad is grater than the factory unit.

Now I'd be willing to entertain that it's possible that there's a difference between the 3500 and 3700 rads...and it maybe that the wrong rad is being installed on 3700 H3's.. Or that something is possibly being done with bracketing to move them back some. But the new rad appears slightly taller.. That I can't really say for sure though.
