I plasti dipped the grill, emblems, running boards, and the apron cover. Came out pretty good

 

Looks good. How many coats did you apply to the grill and running boards? I'll be doing mine when it gets warmer.

 

same here. did you remove the stuff from the hummer? also on the bars did you remove the plastic step pads or just spray over thm?

Thanks guys. I sprayed 5 coats and waited 15 minutes for each layer to dry. I left everything on and just applied blue masking tape on the areas where I didn't want the plasti dip to go on. if you get plasti dip on the paint, no big deal it will come off. For the running boards I put blue masking tape on plastic step pads and sprayed 6 coats on. Make sure not to attach the tape along side the area that you're plasti dipping or else the plasti dip will come off along with the tape. Also, after you plasti dip the running boards avoid stepping on the parts where you plasti dipped. Yes, I still have the plasti dip on the H3, it's holding up pretty good.
