UPDATE:
if i could go back and do it all over again i NEVER would have tried taking out the wheel well piece. it was much more difficult than taking the grill off and taking the lights off, those stupid clips are a PITA to take off and it's almost impossible to take off the side marker from the wheel well (but i did manage to do it with some help on one side.) anyway, here's how they turned out

Well I didn't want to remove the side markers so I just taped them off and sprayed them with Lens Tint from Autozone ($12). Here is how they turned out.

I also taped off the reverse light section and sprayed the taillights. Here is how they turned out. I will post some pics installed once they have dried off.

I wanted to but the wife likes the chrome, so I am doing as much as I can get away with. I have a set of 26s that came off my old escalade that are all black. KMC slides. I was thinking of putting them on or I might just sell them. My next step is to get some sort of light bar for the front end and add a few Hella Black Magics. I want a pre runner looking bar or just a simple light bar. Unless I found a whole brush guard for cheap

Here they are installed, I think I could have given it another coat or so. But overall I am happy with the end product. This one can has done the tail lights side markers, and my friends silverados tail lights and third brake light. Plus there is still tint in the can. Can't beat it. Just gotta be paitent and do light coats til you reach your desired tint level.

For those of you that upgraded your lights to LEDs, how did you keep them from flashing fast? I've installed mine, they look great, but they flash fast.

Mine dont flash fast. Must have a built in resistor or something. Sometimes if you have a light out somewhere they will all flash fast.
