Default New H3 mods for MPG

06 H3 3.5

Just bought our first Hummer and the wife loves it. That is all that really counts. First mods for her was 2 10s in the back and a MP3 hookup to the factory radio. Now she is real happy. I'm not so happy with power and MPG so now is my turn to mod a little.

Here is my list not in any order
AirDoc and K&N Done! Nice piece.
SuperModulation throttle body, Spark upgrade with Iridium plugs.
Exhaust upgrade
Pcm forless, I did a little reading and that seems to be the ticket.
OTTP header

What is you guys opinion on these mods and in what order?
What kind of MPG gain do you think I will get?

I have read a lot of posts where people that had put in the Iridium plugs took them out.. I have also heard mixed reviews on the PCM for less also. Some say it helped some say they got worse afterwards.. I would like to get that also, but I dont want to spend money to lose money... For ones it has worked on I heard the tow setting is best overall.. Good luck, I am anxious to see what happens with yours.

I would mate your SuperMod Super Sparkz with OEM AC Delco plugs. Super Sparkz may not net you anything other than perhaps a cleaner burn?

Also consider the SuperMod or PCMforless Efan conversion. I am very pleased with the PCMforless Efan, working perfectly for a year now.

You've got the best stuff listed otherwise.

I have an 06 H3 3.5L and I just completed the Air Doc Intake and installed a $26 Spectre air filter. Seems to work perfectly, and mpg has improved. Really noticed the improvement in the passing lane. I got a couple of mpg, or more, according to OBDwiz. Only time will tell what the actual increase will be. Good luck with it.

Thanks for the tip on the plugs. I was thinking on the super sparkz might as well do them while Ive got them out. Not much money.
