Default New Battery dead

I have a 06 H3. New Battery, I have replaced both Terminals, no problems at all with electrical Nothing aftermarket installed nothing Plugged into lighter ports. I go out turn the key and nothing, No dash lights at all, No noises, no interior lights, The key will not pull back out, shifter will not move out of park. It is as if I do not even put the key in at all, I do not have a key fob so cant check that. As soon as I connect a jump pack immediately starts and have no problems restarting, for a few weeks and then repeat the problem, any suggestions?

Make sure the new battery is fully charged, they do NOT come that way off the shelf. Put a charger on it.... look into a Deltran Battery Tender Plus, like $34 on ebay, one of the best basic auto tools available.

Then check all your grounds and look for any frayed parts in your electrical harness.

I should have mentioned this battery is fully charged. charged before I installed it. drove it yesterday after first battery was replaced for same symptoms, jump pack instantly started it and now starts with no problem, about 8 times today.

Cool

Sounds like a bad circuit is draining your battery. You can measure the drain and then pull fuses to isolate what circuit is the culprit. You should see about 50-100mA under normal conditions. Anything more that that is a problem.
One easy place to check is the tow harness wiring under the rear bumper on the driver's side. They tend to wear and chafe over time and short out.
