Thanks Bro. My scan gauge readings are coming in low on temp. So You have inspired me to give this a shot. Looking at a you tube video on this replacement procedure...

Looks doable but like you said. Certainly not like the old days when thermostats were on top and easy.

Do a search here, some guys have modified the stat to the top. I wish I found this mod prior to replacing mine. I found the parts at Summit Racing website, next time it goes bad, I think I may move it up top.

I have decided to keep her til she dies. So I'm sure I will be replacing it 1 more time.
