that is just showing the amount of programmed fobs. if you have 3 fobs then you have to program them all at the same time one after the other. 4 is usually the max allowed.

if you do not have the 2 that are stored in memory you have to erase all fobs and program what you have. the number is just stating how many fobs are stored in memory.

was the BCM replaced with a new or used one? you might need to recode it to your vin.

honestly i have no idea, we bought this hummer from a car flipper and we got it dirt cheap and restored it. It has had no mechanical/electrical issues except for 3 when we got it.. it had no key fobs (guy said prev owner didnt give him any) also the tpms error is on the dash and cannot program new sensors (even dealer cant) and there is no sound with the turn signals, but all other chimes and sounds work.
we replaced the battery cables first thing, then made sure there was no drain tube issue's.
i bought new fob and have confirmed it will work, i also bought the scanner hummerz recommended to program the fob, i have also confirmed with vident that it will reprogram the BCM. So i did the BCM and put my vin and info it and all went in fine. Then tried to program the key fob with the new antenna and it still will not change off of the (2) fob in the scanner and it does nothing (no communication).
so heres my dilemma, the BCM that was in the hummer when purchased is 25816710, which should work in a hummer according to GM, but according to my VIN, mine should of been 25816709.
I have a 25816709 now thats used but tested all working that came out of a canyon (GM says same thats on a hummer h3 but different features) so im thinking of replacing mine with it and reprogramming it and see if it works.
Any other ideas? Because im out of them at this point

Fury1967 Been busy renovating a second home.
QUESTION: >>>>>Can you program Remote Keyless Entry Feedback?

This feature allows you to program your remote keyless
entry feedback to a preferred setting.
To set your choice for this feature, perform the
following steps:
1. With the engine off, turn the key to LOCK. Do not
remove the key from the ignition.
2. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the
remote keyless entry transmitter at the same time.
Hold both buttons until the DIC display shows
the current remote keyless entry feedback mode.
3. To view the next available mode, press and hold
the reset stem for approximately two seconds.
Release the reset stem and press and hold again to
view each mode.
4. Once the desired mode is shown on the DIC
display, briefly press the reset stem to set your
choice. The DIC display will then clear.

The following are the available modes:
RFA 1 (default): This mode flashes the parking lamps
when you press the lock or unlock buttons on the
remote keyless entry transmitter.
RFA 2: This mode flashes the parking lamps and
sounds the horn when you press the lock button on the
remote keyless entry transmitter. This mode also
flashes the parking lamps when you press the unlock
button on the remote keyless entry transmitter.
RFA 3: This mode flashes the parking lamps and
sounds the horn when you press the lock or unlock
buttons on the remote keyless entry transmitter.
RFA 4: This mode disables remote keyless entry
feedback. There will be no feedback when you press
the lock or unlock buttons on the remote keyless
entry transmitter.

no worries, i know how time consuming remodeling is as we redid our whole house when we bought it.
so i followed the directions and nothing, so im assuming the BCM that controls the fob part isnt working. I pulled the bcm and looked at the board and there was corrosion right around where the RKEA is. I do have the other BCM but im pretty sure it will trigger the passlock and unfortunately this scanner cannot get by that... im debating on if key fobs and tpms is worth the cost to take to a dealer lol

if it will not learn the key fobs or the TPMS i would think the BCM is not allowing writes to it.
