Which K&N filter to use with airdoc?
#11
Hey all,
I'm new to the Hummer arena. I just picked up an '07 H3 a few weeks ago.
I'm trying to understand something here...the Airdoc just replaces some items on the stock intake system. How do the nerf bars play into this equation? Is it for the weight savings or is it something else? To my understanding, the nerf bars are the step bars that make it possible for me to climb into this tall *** vehicle. Is there something else?
Thanks to all who reply!

Doc has very good information on his website, including pictures of the parts that are replaced by installing his system.
www.airdocintakes.com is the website

Interesting.. doc reffers to it as a resonator also:
The lungs of this intake? A 3.5" diameter steel TIG welded pipe with mandrel bend design. Doc's system makes for a large volume of air flow from the inner fender outside the under-hood heat environment direct to the throttle body. To do this, you replace stock intake hoses, plastic resonator box and air filter box inlet snorkel with the Air Doc.
