Hey guys, I need help figuring out my HVAC issue. When the temperature **** is set to full cold (full left) it works as expected. If I move the **** 1 click warmer (to the right) the actuators move to full hot. So with one click, it goes from full cold to full hot with nothing in between. All the other HVAC controls seem to work fine except the temperature. It drives me crazy to manually switch between full cold and full hot every few minutes to try and get a middle temperature.

What I tried: I replaced the blend door actuators and the HVAC control ***** in the center stack with no luck. I tried the actuator calibration procedure with no luck.

My H3: 06 luxury with 140k miles. It does have an aftermarket double din radio that the previous owner installed.

 

That is a common problem with the early H3's that was corrected by GM with later versions of the climate control. It's an easy fix by adding a resistor. Here's the 'how to' posted years ago by another member.
