Hey,im pretty new to the forum and i just want some opnions,im looking to buy a 2007 hummer h3,or a 2006 porsche cayenne,hows the offroad capability for both of them and which is better,which one has better perfomance?

It depends what you plans are?

If you want real off road capability go with the H3 with the Adventure Package.

If you want street perfromance and on road handlinggo with the Porsche.

PS the new H3 Alpha with a V8 will do wonders for the H3'sperfomance

 

it depends what kind of four whelling you do if you ask me the porsche looks kinda borring and ordinary pretty much everyone on a hummer forum will tell you to get the hummer

 

You are looking at two totally different vehicles. The H3 is a comfortable ride on the streets, and can certainly be modified to perform better, but it's primary focus is going off-road. On the other hand the Porsche Cayenne is made for driving onpaved roads and maybe a dirt road now and then. The Cayenne has the same handling and performance numbers as many other dedicated sports cars.

So, you need to decided if you want something primarily for paved roads, the Cayenne, or if you want something that will go on pavement and pretty much anywhere else you want, the H3.

And as Azz stated, you are on a Hummer forum, so you will probably be told to buy the Hummer. If you go on a Porsche forum they will tell you to buy the Porsche. Either way...good luck with your purchase.

The H3 and the CAYENNE are too far apart to be compared.

depending on which CAYENNE you're talking you can compare the CAYENNE V6 to a VW TOUAREG V6,
the CAYENNE V8 to the RANGE ROVER SPORT turbo charged and the
CAYENNE TURBO to the MERCEDES AMG ML63.

You can compare the H3 to ......the H3. Period.

 

why not compare the h3 to a Winnebago for chit sakes?!?!?!

 

Compared to yours, the Winnebago gets better gas mileage!

 

Porsche Go to the dealer and tell them you want to test drive it then take it off road oh hope it has onstar your going to need a tow truck
