Cool H3 Rock Sliders?

Just wondering what kind of rock sliders are being used or thought to be the best? My H3 came with chrome nerf bars and got to get rid of them. I ordered N-Fab's RKR rail/step system but am having trouble fitting them. May need to look for something else. I have 2010 H3 Alpha that's pretty stock, only some minor upgrades but planning on more. My wife thinks I have HADD. (Hummer Accessory Deficit Disorder)

1. They are not rock rails and will NOT support the weight of your H3.
2. Make sure you are installing the driver side nurse bar on the driver side and the passenger side on the passenger side.
3. Make sure Nfab sent you the correct part #.

Rocky Road Super Sliders.

When you say trouble, do you mean the mounting bolts are difficult to thread into the frame holes? Or, is it a failure to line up?

3 of the six mounting holes don't line up, about 1/2 a hole off and one of them doesn't even come close. N-Fab said to just leave it out. And that's the passenger side.
The drivers side is about the same. Don't know if I want to try and make it fit. Oh, and the pinch weld or the support arms would have to be adjusted. (ground)

N-Fab statement: Leave out any bolts that will not line up with the frame holes through our rail/steps brackets.

Translation: We don't bother to make our chit fit what it is supposed to, live with our half azzed work product.

  • They sell them as rock rails, but I don't anticipate bashing my truck on rocks anyway. But I do want some protection!
  • Yes they are marked. (But maybe I should try reversing them)
  • The box had correct part number but I will ask them to verify.
Thanks, what kind do you use?

Hummerz,
Do not want steps, looks better than nerf bars though.
Thanks
