Default H3 Made Our Own

These are pics of my wife's H3 after we made some changes to make it our own. As you can tell from the pics, we changed the grille to a painted black grille, added a black grille guard, added black nurf bars, added tail light guards, leveled the front and changed the tires and wheels. We also added a Magnaflow Catback Exhaust System, Volant Cold Air Intake and am currently waiting on the PCMforless Module to arrive. I had a lot of fun doing it and my wife loves it.

Did you do all the black out painting yourself? or have someone else do it?

We had a local 4x4 shop install Daystar Torsion bars to level the truck. We didn't paint anything ourselves on the truck. We bought the Grille from hummerpartsonline and got the brushgurad, nerf bars and tail light guards from a local Truck Acessory Parts Dealer in Houston fairly cheap. Installed everything ourselves.

Looks good, except the nerf bars. You could have saved some money by cranking your torsion bars yourself...did you do the Daystar body lift?? Here's the link to level https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...ics-how-11428/
It cost me something like $3.00 for the socket from Sears and you do not need a jack...just level ground

Looks good. Body color grill > chrome grill. Those wheels also look much better than the stockers. I don't like nerf bars, but if you're not taking it offroad, they are probably better than sliders.

Why does it look to me like it has a body lift?

Yeah I got an alignment about a week after the leveling. I had to make some adjustments due to settling. I have lifetime alignment at Firestone...well worth the cost!

I'd have to guess it's because he leveled it and it still has stock sized tires on it that look too small for the wheel wells.
