Personally.... "mudding" for me is something different than wheeling or off roading. You can drive through a mud puddle behind the lumber yard and I guess that would be mudding, but why?

We do dirt, sand, rocks, snow, and if the dirt mixes with water, then mud.

You are welcome to join up with us for any Michigan wheeling adventure!

However, most all of it is a good trek north of the D (Detroit for you non locals). The Mounds near Flint is a mud hole with a man made rock garden, that would definitely be mudding. The good stuff is middle of the Mitten and north. I am sure Tainter will add you to the list and send you a heads up when something is organized.

A group shot from Rocks & Valleys, no front mounted hitches though?

I wonder if a local shop could just weld a class-3 receiver with reinforcement flanges to your existing impact bar? I'm not a fan of any existing aftermarket front hitches because they all hang way to low under our truck's metal front bumper section.

My idea for the best front hitch would exit through a hole cut in the front metal bumper section right where our front license plate is mounted. The license plate would then be put on an adapter bracket that plugs into the front receiver just like a hitch ball assembly.

When the front receiver is needed, just remove the front plate and plug in your winch or hitch assembly.

Yea I didn't get the curtis because I think it's going to hang to low, I'm considering maybe fabing up my own as I want it to come out where the font license plate mount is, and not down where the skid plate is. Just finished putting the damn bumper back together for the front OEM aux lights in the grill, so we'll have to see when I get time to tear it back off and see what it will take to weld up my own. Think its a brake pad kind of weekend...
