Driver seat pushing seat warmer

Driver seat pushing seat warmer
The guy that owned the H3 before me was a pretty big guy. The drivers seat seems squished in so much so that now the heat button gets pressed to high every time I drive. Is this a know issue? Any ideas on how to fix this.

It's an issue. There was a fix, and I believe it was just a screw in the side of the trim panel. Mine has the screw, and I believe it was done by the dealer, but unsure. Even though mine has the "fix", it still gets turned on when I get in. Habit now has me reaching down and turning off the seat heater every time I get in.

NEW GUY needs to learn how to use the SEARCH function (at the top of each forum page) before asking multiple answered questions in multiple posts maybe?
Oh yeah, get and READ the owners manual. Free on GM.com!

You seat trim is broken. Happens because a prior owner was a lazy fatazz that just slid out of/onto the seat instead of getting in/out using legs. Your truck is also old now, and seat cushions get squished from former fatazzes riding on them adding to the problem. The true solution is to spend $30 and by a new driver seat trim piece, replace the broken on AND us the screw method. Been there, done that.
Until then, climb in, lift up on the seat trim, check position of the heater switch, and enjoy.

yes I have searched the forum and working on getting a manual. but I like to chat with whoever is currently posting sometimes there is new solution to an old problem etc. I also try to post each issue in a separate post to keep the tread clean.
