Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
Looking to get into a H3 and have been looking. This stands out as a bargain at $6500. but I no nothing about the vehicle other than it's a Alpha, 211K, original owner. Appears to have been taken care of at least cosmetically. It's about a hour away so I haven't inspected yet.
I would ask a mechanic to look at it,
just an FYI, have him look at the Transmission, Transfer Case, hear it when it starts (Cold) to make sure there isn't any rumbling ( Timing Chain)
no oil leaks, and have it hooked up to a computer for any other issues that could possibly pop up. I would also get a CARFAX on the car.
Hope all is good, I love my Hummer. It looks exactly like this one,
Pretty unlikely that an Alpha was "de-badged", including the headrests AND the steering wheel, and had the front bumper changed/painted, and had the wheels changed...

Agreed. It was probably hammered and rebuilt without that HX being public (ie. no insurance claim).
Yeah that looks a lot like the Base Luxury model. And look at the image he posted with the dash...it doesn't have the transfer case switch with that rear locker switch that the Alphas and Adventure packages have. Isn't that true @Doc Olds that the Alphas come standard with the second rear locker switch? Guess it could have been replaced with a standard TC switch but yeah, lots of signs pointing to non-Alpha. Including the backwards installed driver's seat headrest lol
