Mark, most times that is an accurate presumption, but there's always pros and cons that you have to weigh, second look at the OEM setup, the H3 actually sucks air in through the vents by thebwindshield, alot of people think their fake, and the drivers side pretty much is, however the passenger side is contained cold air intake... There's more too it but the design flaws on the H3s allow alot of dirt inside the engine bay and you'll be cleaning that filter alot, especially because it's oiled.

Well it already shipped so I guess I'm stuck with it. I'm not about to pay shipping back plus a re stocking fee! I should have done more research.

Doc is really quick to send it out, you'll have it in about a week give or take a day or two...

I actually got mine from someone who traded in their lease but if you have any questions on shippig times just ask Doc he's a str8 forward no bs guy he'll let you know

Doc has great products and great customer service. Like Dan said he is straight up and usually he has a sufficient supply of intakes made so they ship right out. Actually that reminds me I have a $25 discount with him for when I get the intake for the Duece..

Hell no it doesn't. the K&N is an open box setup; which means no deep mud or no going in the water for you.

Whereas keeping the stock airbox and using the airdoc means you can still ford your 3' deep water and any amount of mud you require
