1. Ummmm, uhhhhh, Ummmm YES!
2. Take a look at the tank you filled to the top. See the overflow hose??? That's the part that was "designed to handle overfilling"! There is extra space in the tank to accept "overflow". No extra space.....overflow "flows" out the "overflow hose". Pretty simple concept.

Here is a picture if you can't grasp the concept:

I wish you guys were right.. they ran some tests on the radiator and it's leaking. It needs to be replaced. I am waiting for the huge bill now. How much does it cost on avg (including labor) to replace a radiator with an original one (and not a junkyard rad)?

I am surprised how I drove it for 4 hours without heating on me....

According to your previous post you said you over filled the tank, then it spewed until it was back at the normal "hot" level and stayed there. Then you do not have a leak if the level is consistant at the normal "hot" level.

"They" ran a pressure test? Where is the rad leaking from? Sis "they" show you?

The mechanic did run a pressure test and that's how he based his decision.

I bought it from a dealer and I have the option of getting it fixed for free or returning it. I was worried about getting it fixed but then having engine issues. what do you guys recommend?

I still think that the engine is fine bc I drove it for 4 hrs w/o issues. And I am really not sure how the engine vibrations relates to all this.

Then have them replace the rad (at their cost). As far as the stumbling and close to stalling issue when they replaced the MAF did it get any better?

stuff like MAF sensor are not part of the warranty so I wasn't gonna fix it till i'm sure they will cover the radiator costs. But now thinking about it its better not to take risks and spend $50 or so on checking if its the MAF sensor or something more important.

So it wasn't the MAF sensor, just replaced the radiator and no more leaking.

However, I stil have the stalling issue (again it doesnt turn off all the way)

They think it might be the spark plugs which is like $125 (incl labor) to change all 5. I hpe that does it as the next option will be to replace two of the cyl coil.

The decision was based on the fact that when we connected it to the computer it showed a misfire in Cylinder 3 and 5.

wat do u guys think? is the mechanic ripping me off or is this the right approach?

Welcome to Boston my frd where everything is triple the price...

It wasn't even the spark plugs although it did take out the cylinder misfire error but it still does the same thing (a bit less than before). I am going to put Sea Foam cleaner in it and see if that helps.

any other ideas?
