Hello all, new member here. I just bought my first hummer 2 days ago. 2003 h2. The indicator lights on the 4x4 buttons arent lighting up. I searched the forum and Google and did some troubleshooting. I checked the trec fuse and it was blown. I replaced the fuse and it immediately blows once i put it in even with the car off. So i unplugged the connector at the encoder motor and fuse still blew. I then completely disconnected the switch and same thing. I opened up the fuse box and looked for shorted wires but couldnt find any.

At this point im stuck. anything else to try or does it have to be a short somewhere?

Could a bad TCCM cause this? I was looking around down there today and noticed one of the ground plugs wasnt pushed in all the way near the module. COuld it be fried?
