Need help or direction
I have a 06 h3 I put a 08 motor an ecm with tcm upgraded trans also! I had the e67 ecm and the t42 tcm calibrated to 08 h3 5.3 and vin programmed to the 06 h3 Would the e67 communicate with the 06 modules like the body control module or brake module, cluster? I’m kinda doing the impossible here apparently after reading the doom and gloom forums! I’ll attach the diagrams any help would be really appreciated thank you

Hello bheege78 ,
There is also a difference in the 4L60E depending on which side of 2008 you are on. If you have the TCM flashed to 2008 then you will need a different harness inside of the transmission and a Transmission Fluid Temperature(TFT) sensor. If your TCM is calibrated to 2008 spec it will need this input and trigger failures and trouble codes without it.
If you are having all the modules flashed then all the modules need to be flashed to the same so they can hope to talk to each other. I was lacking in this capability and so I took the Tahoe ECM/TCM and used HPTuners to calibrate them to run in standalone. While this has worked and the vehicle has been on the road all this time there have been a few deficiencies most notably with instrument cluster functions. It would be so great for you if you were able to tie these systems together and gain all of that functionality.
For the Tahoe ECM programmed as a Tahoe there is no class 2 data line leaving the Tahoe ECM. And class 2 communications are all the H3 BCM supports. Tahoe only uses high speed comms for ECM/PCM/BCM communications and uses a single serial wire between them, which looks like class 2, but it is just for a wakeup signal. This problem as real as it was for me might not be so much a problem for you.
You just need to make sure the ECM' connector X1 pin 15 circuit 1807 purple wire is going directly to connector X1(2006-2007 label this connector as C1) pin A47 of the BCM and make sure the BCM has a flash with the same vin and RPO codes as what is in your flashed ECM/TCM for 2008 H3 and I think you will be good. Let me know how it goes or if I can be of any further help. And good luck.
