I see a lot of H2 brush guards for sale on eBay that claim to be "OEM style" and look just like the originals. I suspect the pictures are of the real thing but they send you something that is super cheap. Has anyone tried buying one of these? How did it turn out? The ones I'm seeing range from $300 for no-name to $800 for Aries.

 

Depends on what you're going for. Most of the cheaper ones are just hollow tubes. They look good but it's not going to really protect you from hitting a tree. I have the Aries one but I don't remember paying $800 for it. I put a giant hook on the front hitch to protect me from any fender benders or deer

 

I don't think the factory ones are all that great. They mount on small brackets attached to the main grill assembly. Hitting a tree would just cave the whole front end in.

I took mine off and will part with it if you want a factory one.
