tire pressure monitoring system for the h2
#3
I actually have two of themnand never had to charge them via USB as the solar charge is very good. The units are vibration activated and to date I've never managed to open a door without activating it.
There is an anti-theft locking nut, but they're made of aluminum which corrode and seize. I've had to carefully grind them off, not something you want to do if you get a flat.
So I don't use the lock nuts and doubt if anyone will bother lifting them. The units are cheap to buy and I believe the sensors can be re-coded, so it's not a big worry.
Have to say they are excellent and essential in my view. Just recently I had a flat on the motorway, the alarm went off and I managed to safely pull over before the tire was completely deflated.
