From everything I've read over the years a roots (Magnuson) style SC does better for bottom end lower RPM power without any sort of lag while a centrifugal SC has a tiny bit of lag and provides more higher RPM power.

yes that is also what I've been reading but I think they have a better handle on the centrifugal stuff now

It has power even in the lower rpm range but when you get around 2000 rpm , or so , the power is right there. I dont feel any lag .

I have driven about 150 miles and I noticed the power is always ready , there is zero lag. The power is constant and ready instantly no matter what speed you are going. My driveway is very steep and long, before the s/c I would be lucky to hit 30 or 35 mph in drive and now I am at 50 mph , with no problem. Temps have all stayed normal.
