Someone pulled up next to me on the interstate and gave me an angry thumbs down... so they either didn't like the Hummer or my license plate... or both

 

Like on Amazon, when a product gets 99% 5-Stars and 1% 1-Star, there's always the 1 who is never happy ..... what a meanie !!

 

In all the years of owning H2's I have never had a derogatory comment or look - thats after 4, H2's and 1 H3. I always get positive comments - even to this day I have people approach me with compliments.. Maybe I just stay away from the liberal strongholds and because I usually am in more of a rural setting - I am not really in an environment plentiful of nutjobs that seem to have the view of forcing everyone to be in lockstep with their thinking.. or be damned.

 

Before i bought mine, I did some research and almost didn't get one based on the negative ownership reviews. From harassment, vandalism, to cut brake lines. I haven't had any negative comments yet, maybe because of the emblem I put on the back??

 

Your Hybrid emblem may make someone think of a new profit center- make H2 decals that show a "power recharge port" and emblem as all electric on rear qtr of rig- lol

I have the opposite of this my license plate says GAS GUZ

 

I always wanted to get a plate for my H2 that said 21 MPG and when people asked if it really gets 21 MPG. I would say Yep 11 on the highway and 10 in the city.

I have a plate on my GMC pickup that gets me a lot of thumbs up around here, but would probably get my truck vandalized If I lived in Ca still.

 

the vandalism issue i have is honda civics are attracted to my step bars. one at a stop light just randomly decided to test it and one on the highway. i think he must have been trying to read the brand of my tires and forgot his glasses. weird there like magnets.

 

i had a plate that said "tree hug" that was a finger trigger lol my old h3 had a rear windshield sticker that said "save the world drive a hummer " lollll here in los angeles sometimes i do get the finger or some hate words but its all good comes with driving a hummer . Cant wait for the ev to be out that will **** some people off that the gas hug is now electric lol ...
