Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Around here premium is the only fuel without ethanol in it, that right there is reason enough to use it.

The official info is that 03-07 are fine with 87, 08-09 are supposed to be 91-93 for the 6.2.

With that being said I've tried everything and stuck with 87 on my 08 since the difference is mileage was negligible.

Now i've been doing some upgardes to my 6.2 and will be tuning each one to see what gains are made possible.

Long tube headers, CAI, and then going to a 416" stroker motor aimed at torque instead of horsepower.

I was going to go with a duramax swap, but that's been done and done again.

I think that this is something that more people on here could benefit from.

My thought is by developing the engine more for torque and having a VE of around 125-130% it should actually help out with fuel economy as well.

Will also be going to an autotrac transfer case so I will have 2wd, auto4WD (similar to our current AWD), 4WD High locked, and 4WD low locked.

thank you for your brilliant idea, i think i may do the same with my sut. its saying i have low oil pressure but ive literally swapped everything over from oil sending unit to the oil pump itself. the motor is still strong and quiet as a mouse. and the guages seem to work okay so i don't know, I'll just have a motor on stand by just in case
