Rear door locks sporadic

That stinks. That is an excellent video though - I've seen a lot of people have odd electrical problems and it sounds like a shorted seat heater (or a wire to the seat heaters get pinched or rubbed through or something) is the main culprit.
No dash electrical at all is an odd one I've not run into. I strongly recommend finding a copy of the GM eSi system online and downloading it. Its a bit fiddly to get it installed and working but once you do, its the full GM service info system with all the wiring diagrams, troubleshooting, etc.

My '04 H2 had problems with the gauges and needed a whole new cluster. This fixed other electrical problems like the radio not working and other lighting problems. I still have a couple of door locks that won't lock electrically, so I think that I need to replace the lock actuators. Has anyone tried installing "universal" lock actuators on an H2 instead the $150 OEM parts?
