Sorry the is mainly a UK take on the Kenwood.

Indeed its a fantastic unit and definitely on the list. The price here is around $950 or £610 sterling plus the PAC which is around $120 or £70. The DNX691HD has a 6.1" display and only one camera input, price is around 20% cheaper.

The units are packed with features, Garmin Nav, HD radio, Sat Radio, iPhone/Android mirror etc. Here UK maps, support for DAB radio and UK traffic reports are essential however as these models are not sold here I suspect Kenwood have an equivalent European version possibly the DNX7250DAB. This unit is very similar but appears not to support the steering control interface (need to check) Price more expensive at £756 on Amazon.

To do it justice I'd need to compare the features and investigate further.

does the H3 comes with the bose system?
My problem was a constant static noise due to the bose amp which doesn't allow any gain adjustment

After replacing the amp then speaker sound horrible.

I do had the interface before which give me a few problems plus it stop working soon after installed
the wheel adapter also works sometime.

In my opinion even though losing the chimes and some features replacing the stock unit was worth it

Btw my is a Kenwood DNX571HD (only negative can't see the screen easily)
matched with pioneer amp and speakers

 

H2Miami, I'm not sure if the H3 has a Bose system like our H2. I just wanted to replace the previous aftermarket system I had and did some research, the DNX891HD was the latest version of Kenwood at that time. The GM Interface PAC RP5-GM11 was the match for it. I had them both installed and all the factory stuff worked perfectly without replacing the factory Bose amp and speakers.
