Need Passenger (Right) Side HVAC Blend Door
Hi forum and happy 4th of July to those of you in the US,
My 2003 H2 has been blowing only hot air out of the passenger side even when the AC is set to the lowest temp. The driver's side is cool but not cold air. This problem was discovered when I bought the H2 last year. Unfortunately, I bought it during winter time and did not think to test the H2. Hard and expensive lesson learned.
My local mechanic took it all apart and told me the Passneger Blend door was broken. He fixed it with epoxy and it was working.
Fast forward to this summer. Same problem. The mechanic didn't want to take it all apart so he inserted a scope to discover that the blend door was broken again.
I cannot find the part ANYWHERE, nor can he.
Was wondering if anyone knew where to find one or what a solution could be.
This is the part that I need: https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline.c.../89023354.html
Thanks to all and much love

if you cant find an original one then you will probably have to buy a the whole HVAC assembly from a salvage yard. another solution would probably be to 3D print one in ABS using your existing one for dimensions.

My mechanic mentioned the idea of 3D printing...the problem is that the one that is in their was epoxied together in the repair so dimensions would be tough.
Any ideas what was cause the blend door to break in the first place? Aside from age, what would be the cause of air flow causining it to "crack" or whatever.
Thanks for your reply
