I'm on my second H2. I have an 06 now and when I bought it, the previous owner had taken off the spare tire holder. He gave it to me and I want to put it back on but I'm going to mount an aftermarket wheel on it. So I need to relocate my tag. The 04 I had, it had a license plate holder over on the right. Nothing special but it worked. I thought it was stock because the 04 came with a soft spare tire cover. The 06 I have now came with a hard spare tire cover and that is where the license plate relocation is. I found this after market one but it seems over priced and I don't love it. I can't find a factory part number for what I had on the 04. Was it not stock?

If they didn't come with the spare tire carrier from the factory, it mounted to the tailgate. I believe 04 had them on the tailgate, but 06 had the carriers so it would mount in front of the wheel.
