I did a write up on what you need for using a Tahoe/Yukon fog light button on here. You will have to search to find it but very detailed, even schematic of how the button works. The issue is the button is momentary so you need an additional latching relay module from Amazon.

I used the button for fog lights but this thread is where I went into the details. I made a PDF with wiring in post 37 and went into some other details in other posts. Your main difference would be that you want to use the factory button for roof bar lights.

For what its worth, that switch you showed for a Jeep is exactly the style switch the H2's will have on the ceiling console if it came with the optional off road lights (roof or brush guard styles). The switch will need to control a relay for the lights (do not try and run a bunch of lights directly off of a switch, the switch will melt and potentially cause a fire).

@AL7ZIN - If you are looking for parts for the roof rails, give a call to Pacific Motors as they are always parting out an H2. I see they have OEM parted roof rails listed. They might also have bases... Pacific Motors roof rails listing
