Hi,

I've bought what I believe to be a brand new OEM fuel door for my 2005 H2 however it only has two mounting brackets rather than three, also it is designed to fit a slightly smaller bezel.

Would any of you know what model hummer this fits?

Or is it a 3rd party door?

Any help much appreciated

 

I am fairly certain that is aftermarket, I've seen that door before. Aftermarket as in not a direct drop in replacement. Some of them require you drilling into the body, not sure about that one though.

 

Its all a bit strange.

I actually bought 2 fuel doors, both looked exactly like my H2's with the raised chrome bar, both had the same style packaging, the locks machining and detail all exactly the same, but only one had exactly the right mounting. Its as if the odd one was for a later H2 or maybe a H3.

Have to say these look too well made to be aftermarket but I agree with you they must be.

Anyway my spare one is up for sale
