Default High Trans Temp 190 F

This high temporature started during winter, the transmission would reach temporatures of 178F from normal driving.
I was towing my boat yesterday when the temporatures reached 203 F. The 2 good for nothing fans behind the rad did not come on
I had the settings on the dash set on trailor mode and the temporature went up. You guys have any Idea what coul cause this??

Things I noticed today was coolent level was just below the cold line.
I'll check my transmission levels tomorrow.

Thanks for that up date I never knew. MY MY I was going to start snipping wires on the 2 fans behind the rad to run a switch that would manually put on those fans and leave them on when towing the boat..

yoymon which cooler should I buy the boat weigh 5k. Any instructions/pictures on how to install one of those coolers.

I just revamped my entire cooling system, best mod so far, i have nothing going through the radiator, except water and antifreeze, i see you left little lenghts of the trans line hanging out of the radiator, you can totally , do away with them, nothing will leak out of the fitting, as it is sealed, withing the radiator. ..will look better..

Look for my mod, i think you will like it. .

I did the same but I dont think 189 -200 is too hot unless outside temp is too cool .
Before mod In Summer the trans temp stay around 200 everyday .
now after aftermarket cooler the max ot reach is 150

Also, you need to do one more thing, take the old cooler and grind off the rivets that hold the brackets to the cooler, and install the bracelets back onto the vehicle, it will prevent the radiator shroud area from flexing up and down..

If you check out my install, you will see how i installed them..
